Texas AG Ken Paxton Warns Biden Administration After Defeating Sham Impeachment: “Buckle Up”
Texas’ attorney general, Ken Paxton, recently emerged victorious in the fight to have his indictment of a sham impeachment dismissed. In light of the victory, he took time to issue a warning: “Buckle Up”.
The fight against the malicious impeachment efforts against Paxton began in 2020 when Democrats attempted to oust him from office in an empty gesture of showmanship. In the face of the orchestrated effort, Paxton wasted no time in responding to the charges – almost as soon as the impeachment was announced he moved to have the case dismissed in court.
The courts eventually sided with Paxton and threw out the indictment on the grounds that the charges brought against him were unfounded and without merit. Despite this, Paxton took time to issue a warning, saying an ominous “buckle up” to the Biden administration.
It’s uncertain what exactly Paxton was warning the Biden administration about, but it could be his plans to challenge the administration’s policy decisions in court. In the past few months, Texas has seen numerous clashes with the Biden administration, as the state continues to fight for its own beliefs and interests.
The impeachment saga and the subsequent “buckle up” warning show that Paxton will not be backing down in the face of any challenge the Biden administration puts forward. Even in the face of potentially daunting odds, Paxton has demonstrated a willingness to fight and to protect the people of Texas.
If the past is any indication, it looks like the Biden administration has a bigger fight on its hands than what it expected when it faced Texas. With the “buckle up” warning issued by Paxton, the Biden administration will have to take extra care with its decision making when it comes to issues that affect Texas.
