Beyond Lithium Corp (BLI:CSE) is pleased to announce the assay results from the spodumene pegmatite grab samples collected from the grab samples collected from the last resort and bounty gold pegmatite occurrences at the 100% owned Victory project, located near the Idaho/Utah state line in the western United States.
The Last Resort Pegmatite assays reveal up to 5.11 % Li2O and up to 3.48% Li2O at the Bounty Gold Pegmatite from the spodumene pegmatites. The higher levels of Li2O were found in tantalite-rich pegmatite material where tantalum often coexists with spodumene. The grab samples from the last resort and bounty gold pegmatite were collected in multiple body zones, with multiple samples containing li2O levels greater than 3%.
This is a positive development for Beyond Lithium, especially considering the recent move to list on the Canadian Securities Exchange. As the company continues to explore the spodumene pegmatites at the Victory project, the world’s leading supplier of lithium, BYD Lithium, has expressed interest in becoming a technical and financial partner.
Spodumene is considered one of the prime sources of lithium worldwide given its high grade lithia content as compared to other lithium bearing minerals, such as petalite. Being a sizable deposit and relatively easy to process, the Victory project could potentially be a great asset for Beyond Lithium.
A larger bulk sampling program is planned for the H2 2021 which will provide investors with a better understanding of the commercial viability of the spodumene pegmatites at the Victory project.
The team at Beyond Lithium is confident that the success of the sampling program will be a big draw for potential partners and shareholders alike. With a strong market demand for lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and even lithium salts, the Victory project looks like a great opportunity for the company as it continues to explore other resources of lithium.
Overall, Beyond Lithium Corp is looking forward to reporting on the success of the announced bulk sampling program. With its higher grade level of lithia content and relative accessibility, the Victory project seems like a great asset for the company. Investors should stay up-to-date with developments at Beyond Lithium and continue to monitor its progress as the program progresses.
